Every season, the football team at Goshen High School is striving for excellence. Each year brings new challenges, but one constant remains, competition breeds success. The GHS Football team, led by head coach Mike Cheviron and his assistants, push the student-athlete to compete, not only on the football field, but in the classroom, as well.

The Redskin football program is based around four fundamental goals. These goals apply to all levels of Goshen Football and guide the decision making process. We believe, at Goshen High School, that these goals are the building blocks to success.

Program Goals

Create “Impact Men”—We want to create student-athletes that are better individuals when they are finished playing Goshen Football. They will be better husbands, fathers and community members because of the life lessons learned through Goshen Football.

Win—We will prepare to win the NLC title, Sectional, Regional, Semi-State and State Championship.

Family—Every member of the Goshen Football program is included in our family, regardless of race or ethnic background. We are a family because we have a common purpose and shared vision.

Fun—We must remember that football is a game. A game that should be fun. Winning can be fun!

IT’S ALWAYS A GREAT DAY TO BE A REDSKIN!
